Overview
For the first time in her 30 years, Artistic Director, Sue Fink is taking a sabbatical for the Spring 2024 season. We seek a guest conductor who is compatible with our spirit and culture and experienced in conducting a sizeable choir along with a small orchestra.
Dates: beginning from repertoire and concert planning in Fall 2023, with rehearsals likely beginning in January. Performance date TBD, typically early-mid-June 2024.
CONCERT PREPARATION All duties will have the help of and close collaboration with our leadership and music and production teams. 04-24-2023 v7 2 Music team: Assistant conductors, accompanists, arrangers, concert master, choreographer, librarian.
Production team: will assemble under the direction of Executive Director, Winifred Neisser.

Guest Director
COMPENSATION Competitive salary for the full rehearsal/performance season, with compensation for preparation to be negotiated. Final compensation will depend on qualifications and experience level.

In your letter, • Tell us 2 or 3 songs/programming ideas, that you might suggest or envision as appropriate for ACC. • Observe and identify three strengths and weaknesses of the chorale and explain how you would use that information to assist in programming and rehearsing for a successful concert.
• Explain your interest in this assignment and why you would be a good choice for an interim artistic director.
